Support Page Builders? (Divi, Elementor, Bricks..)

Let your voice be heard!

Background: Conditional Blocks has been designed around the WordPress Block Editor itself. This means we have a native deep integration with the WordPress core and full support for Full Site Editing.

I’m a big believer that FSE will be the go-to way of creating sites, lessening the need for third-party page builders.

However.. I’ve heard many ask if Conditional Blocks supports Elementor, Divi or Bricks. Which is why I need your feedback.

1. Are you actively switching away from Page Builders?

2. Which Page Builder should Conditional Blocks support?

3. If the Page Builder has similar features, what’s the current limitations/frustrations you’d want Conditional Blocks to solve?

  1. I use Divi primarily because of the additional features it offers, which enhance both the design and functionality of my websites. Divi provides a cleaner, more streamlined web development experience, allowing me to create visually appealing sites with less hassle. The built-in tools and modules save me time and effort, making it a powerful choice for those who want both flexibility and ease of use.

With regards to questions, my answers are as follows:

    1) I’m actively using Divi and not looking to switch back to FSE cause it seems antiquated.

    2) If Conditional Blocks were to support another page builder, I’d recommend focusing on Divi because of its widespread use and the value it provides to developers.

    3) While Divi covers most of my needs, I occasionally encounter limitations with custom CSS integration and responsiveness tweaking. Addressing these areas could make it even more robust.

    Hope this helps. Thanks!

  2. I’m using Divi too, I would be happy to see the integration with divi builder, especially that the new divi 5 will be realised soon and this could be amazing 🙂

  3. I use Elementor and it really lacks a way to use conditional blocks, even if they are just containers, in order to display them depending on certain conditions.

Whatever is inside the container appears or not according to defined conditions. There is already a free visibility plugin, but it is very limited.
